Trail Tech,
Over the last year I have had the pleasure of using several of your lights. After testing a friend’s 8” HID and MR11 helmet light last winter I was impressed and decided to purchase a set of MR11 helmet lights for night riding. After owning the MR11 for a few months I had an issue with the on/off switch and your Tech’s replaced it for me and returned the MR11’s to me very quickly. Everyone who saw my MR11’s was impressed with them. I decided that I needed to try the SCMR16 Helmet light. Wow I can’t believe how bright this light is! It is so bright that I can turn off my motorcycle light and not even miss it!! I don’t leave home without my helmet lights anymore. I am no longer held back by the dark. It has opened up a whole new range of riding for me, night riding. Night riding is awesome; there are three advantages to it. 1) Hardly anyone out riding at night. 2) You can see on coming vehicles a lot farther away at night. 3) You can ride after work!! This means no more waiting for the weekend to ride.
I recently got the opportunity to race in the Baja 1000. I decided to take my SCMR16 with me. The guys I rode with thought I was crazy for wanting to take a helmet light with me. They thought, it was going to be too heavy and not provide enough light. Well I talked them into playing with both the MR11’s and the SCMR16. They initially looked at the SCMR16 and because of the Chrome outer coating thought this thing must be a brick. I handed it to them and they were amazed how light it is!! Then the test we turned it on and it illuminated their 1 acre lot. They were impressed; I knew that they would be. So the SCMR16 became an option for me to carry in the race.
During the race I had a predicament; put my lights race lights on my bike at race mile 200 at 1 pm or wait till race mile 347 at 5-6pm where I could get caught in the dark. I decided that if I could use the SCMR16 in the race it would be easier to go 147 miles without race lights during the day time then mounting them and carrying them through the Matomi Wash and Puertecitos Road. This worked out wonderfully!
I did get caught in the dark with my stock headlight and my SCMR16 helmet light. It was so nice to have the SCMR16 helmet light with me plugged into my motorcycle’s battery lighting the way. It wasn’t fun when the trophy trucks caught me and threw up huge clouds of dust. It was like being in a white out. A safety feature that I found with a helmet light is that you can let the trucks and buggies coming up behind you know you are there by turning around and using the light to announce your presence. They definitely knew I was there with the SCMR16 helmet light shining bright!!
Thanks so much for building such wonderful helmet lights. I will demo your products to all my friends and family so they understand how wonderful they are. I am currently lending my MR11’s to my riding buddy till he can purchase his own. He loves them!! Keep up the great work.

I just wanted to contact your company with a bit of praise. I've been using your products since 2006 and to be honest riding would not be the same without them. I put a trail tech computer on everything that i ride, currently i have a Vapor that has functioned flawlessly for thousands of miles on my dual sport/supermoto husqvarna 610 and other off road bikes. recently i purchased an 8 inch halogen race light and am thoroughly impressed with the quality and performance, i no longer have to worry about riding at night due to its blindingly bright output. Your X-Bars are also a fantastic solution to a problem I'm sure many stand up riders have, they are perfect for opening up your riding stance and really put you in control, they're strong to boot having had a few get offs with no detrimental effects to the bars. I've attached a few pictures, in one of them you can clearly see that the bee was blinded and flew right into the headlight housing. just kidding. thanks again everybody at Trailtech

I purchased a kickstand, a "Endurance" computer, and the aluminum protector from you back in the spring of this year for a 04 CRF 250R. I absolutely love all the products mentioned! My friend has a 450X, he liked my computer so much, he purchased the "Vector" model. My reason for this mail is, I had washed my bike Monday, and was blowing it dry, when I just raised the bike to roll it forward, and somehow the center pivot bolt in the stand popped! The stand flew about 10 feet, from the spring pressure when it let go. I was surprised! I have stood on the stand, kick starting many times, knowing I have to keep my balance, and not place pressure on the stand, but had never had any problems! This was way to easy a task for the bolt to have broken. Just weird? So..... I have a "Buddy Run" this Sunday, and the bolt is custom made, and I have gotton to comfortable with having the stand, I thought I'm screwed! So, I called your #, spoke with a guy, he said no problem! I will have you one there by Friday. Wow! I thought. Great deal! The minute I hung up the phone I thought, I should have bought an extra bolt, duh? Well, UPS showed up Thursday, a day ahead, and there were 2 bolts in the package! I had to drill, and ease-out, the broken stud, left in the bracket, and now all is well again!!!
A I can't say enough about the service I have recieved from Trail Tech! From the original purchase over the phone, to this problem solved issue I just had ! You guys are awesome !!!! It's so good to see a company that still cares! People have forgotton about service these days, not you!!! Please keep up your policy, and I hope your business thrives! Thank You all, very much!

I have not ridden very many hours with the [X2] Eclipse to begin with .... however, I was super happy with the amount of light it was putting out! There was a trophy type truck on the same road in Chula Vista doing some testing like I was doing. Procter Valley Road is an unpaved very rough road that allows for some great high speed testing with lots of washboard effect. When I went by him at 80+ it seemed like I was putting out more light than he was! I also liked your switch a lot! When going from high to low, the pencil beam always stayed lit! That was something I was not used to. I posted on both RFS and XC4 boards. They deleted the RFS posting...as a duplicate. Not to worry, I will post over there in a week with a slightly different story so it won't get deleted.
Will your DOT approved lights be HID? I would be happy to demo and return one and post results on KTMTalk if you want. Always happy to help your outfit!

Well, i've been dealing with them alot and i can say first hand that their customer service is top notch. They are friendly and very very helpful.
I bought a Trail Tech Vapor and mount and it works perfectly and was easy to install.
I will be buying an X2 halogen light due to the great service and great products they have.
You all should do business with them. They are great.
hey trail tech-
i just installed my new stator & reg/rec kit on my 2003 exc 525 and it is spectacular! i had one of the original ktmtalk/cut7 electrex 'prototypes' and i didn't know how bad it was untill now. the bike starts immediately where before it would start about half the time when hot, and would need a little help from the kickstarter the other half. the throttle response is greatly improved with your kit, as is it's general running 'happiness', it revs out much smoother, easier and further! my battery charges now and i dont have the cluttery wiring and reg/rec that the other kit had to get all in the way and melty. its almost like having a new bike!
thanks again!

Hi,
I just installed your vapor 75-102 and a dash protector on my 2009 Husqvarna TXC510 and I must say this is a awesome kit. I never had an after market kit play and play so easily. I am not sure if its the bike I have, but nerver the less, the adaptation of parts was perfect.
Great job Trail Tech!!
