Wheel Size Setting:
Standard wheel size settings: All dirtbikes with 21" front wheels = 2109. ATV's with 15" front wheels = 1580. ATV's with 22" front wheels = 1676. While these measurements are accurate enough for most people, a more accurate wheel size value can be achieved by following the detailed distance measurement formula in the User's Manual.
The speed reading is twice as high as it should be.
This is called a double-trigger. Every time the magnet passes the speed sensor, it is triggering the sensor twice (both poles of the magnet trip the sensor.) To fix the problem, adjust the distance or angle of the sensor in relation to the magnet. Alternatively, halve the wheel size value in data setting mode.

Computer stopped working correctly.
Generally when the computer stops providing data but seems ok otherwise, there is a problem with the speed sensor cable.
- Has the wheel size setting been accidentally set to zero?
- Is the magnet still in place on the rotor or hub?
- Is the cable visibly damaged or ripped off?
- When the computer was last working, did it give wildly erratic speed data, or excessively high max speed readings (over 150 mph)?

The computer screen has a large black spot on it.
The computer has been dropped on a hard surface.
The computer screen is crazed and hazy.
A chemical attack is likely to blame. Even light chemicals such as Simple Green™ can damage the screen and cause a cracking and hazy appearance. The computer instructions warn against contact with gasoline, degreasers or other chemical cleaners. Chemical attacks are not covered by warranty.
